PDVSA – Lagunillas, Zulia, Venezuela Field Project Manager of RCM
project with PDVSA in Lagunillas, Venezuela responsible for introducing concept
to the client with the object of implementation on a single platform.
Established risk matrices to comply with customer norms and apply matrices to
all platform equipment at sub-system and component levels to produce all
associated risk assessments. Establish tasks to mitigate higher risk levels to
facilitate more reliable plant operation. Work with all PDVSA departments and
personal to improve result accuracy.
Pay particular attention to troublesome plant areas and assist client to
overcome difficulties in these areas providing and managing resources as
necessary.
Responsible to Project Director in Houston.
PEMEX – Paredon Tecominoacan Tabasco, Mexico. Supervision of
installation, commissioning of four Chicago Pneumatic reciprocating compressors
fitted with two retrofit control systems. Supervision and integration of the
installed control system with Pemex’s wide area network via fiber optic links.
Performed various training courses in Spanish for operators and engineers in
Pemex. Installations of several PC based remote monitoring systems software and
hardware.
Assistance provided with engineering, design and testing of replacement
gas fuel valve for the TB5000 gas turbo-compressors.
Assistance provided with material listings and control system
configurations for hydrogen compressors for Pemex petrochemical plants.
Troubleshooting and assistance with Pemex Abkatun platform LM2500
turbo-compressor sets, including anti-surge control and process problems.
Supervision of various installations, commissioning and start-ups
